Setups > 200sx Drift Setup
A Nissan 200SX (S14) setup for Drift by YaelDjiel created on 14. April 2011 11:28.
Disclaimer: this is a bit random setup, but it works for me, at least on the tracks like Miami and London, the wide proper drift tracks.
This is the only car/setup I've been able to beat the 708 mark for the challenge with on Miami.
If you manage to improve the setup, do inform me :)
I use a Logitech rumblepad to play (playstation style pad) if this matters at all.
It didn't seem to matter much for drift, but I'm using TCS low, stability on and ABS on too
Start the race in 3rd gear, drift in 4th.

Reason your doing terrible on drift is due to teh TC and Stability being on!I wondered why mates were getting 2-3x my scores on autolog and checked my settings and the TC/Stab was on, turned them off, used VVV Magictaps supra and beat almost all my mates times. If your having trouble drifting, set his supra up (or my revised version) take of TC and Stability and try it again. u have to control teh throttle a bit but it took me about 5-6 attempts practice and now i'm flying round drift parks

While i was applying the setup i noticed it was a bit random looking at the settings but i gave it a try anyways and found that thi setup was actually alot better than mine. It looks like there can be minor room for improvements but so far its a great drift setup im so happy with my S14. Great job dude for a semi random setup this is really good but i started drifting with the handicaps like the ones you are using and it was horrible. You have to turn them off in order fo a great drift to come out the car and use your true skills. Sure itll take more practice but the drifts come out better.
